The Work
I have recently (July 2016) set up a small design studio called La Schmoove, based in Bristol. The focus is on space and creating beautiful, fun and engaging spaces through sculpture and design. The current work is between 2 and 3m in size and wood based. however I hope to scale up to small-scale architectural installations and pavillions. A huge amount of my process is experimentinng with materials and repeating units to develop unusual forms. I love simplicity. I am also aiming to target public spaces with community-enriching projects that transform a space, festivals with sculpture and lighting installations, and high end hotels and restaurants with bespoke pieces.– Henry Collins

I am a 23 year old who graduated from Brunel University in 2015 with a degree in Industrial Design and Technology with Professional Development. I spent my placement year living and working in the Lake District with sculptor Charlie Whinney where we designed, manufactured and installed large steam bent sculptures, furniture and lighting. I also travelled to Tokyo to install 4 giant pieces we made.
