Im interested in exploring the mood of a subject. My work tends to depict a solitary image and it’s surroundings. The Artwork portrays an ordinary image and represents it in a different light. To use what is ordinary or disused and create an ambiguous or unusual image from it. Im currently working on a series of charcoal images. Whether it is perceived as macabre, formidable, dark is the exploration of mood. These current series of charcoal images is a continuous emphasis of this and the form. – Rema Nambiar
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art at London Guildhall University. I mainly prefer to work with oils and charcoal.
