Tertia May announced herself in 2018 with her soul-stirring debut EP, Kind of Purple, pulling from hip-hop, jazz, soul and pop with a voice that demands attention. The following twelve months saw her grace stages from London’s iconic Jazz Cafe to the studios at COLORS with her performance last summer attracting almost 2 million views.
Speaking about the tour today, Tertia says:
I’m so happy to finally be back performing in front of an audience after 18 months, especially as this is my first proper UK tour. I can’t wait to share all the new music I’ve got as well as some of the songs from my previous EP’s. Looking forward to setting the tone for my 2022!
In April 2019, Tertia sold-out her debut headline show at London’s Omeara, playing for the first time with a full band of live performers and feature artists. She dropped her sophomore EP ‘Not From Concentrate’ that summer to huge critical acclaim and is currently busy spending time collaborating with producers and musicians from across the globe.
Tertia’s presence in the music scene grows stronger by the day, with further performances for Boiler Room and Keep Hush bringing her to the attention of new and diverse audiences. Invariably, the reception is the same; Tertia is electric, charming and will command the stage, no matter the size.
