In this cosmic drama Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Y Tu Mama Tambien) shows yet another depth to his directing skill. Film although based on a simple concept keeps ones heartbeat in check with breathtaking outer-space scenes and astronauts drifting in the stratosphere. George Clooney (Ocean’s Eleven, ER) and Sandra Bullock (Crash, The Blind Side) make a perfect match in the picture with their comedic and laid back approach. Gravity is a feast of special effects for those who dream of getting out there and simply don’t have the means. Watched in 3D/IMAX the film turns fiction into reality. Although there is not much of a plot to the film, Cuaron deserves some credit for this picture.
