The Edinburgh International Magic Festival Announce First Festive Show
Edinburgh is already known as a capital of magic for its connections to Harry Potter, host of the UK’s biggest magic festival, and its enchanting beauty, but this Christmas Edinburgh will become the world’s most magical city as The Edinburgh International Magic Festival launch their inaugural festive production – ‘MagicFest Christmas Special: Collection of Wonders’ at George Square Theatre 27th – 30th December.
Audiences of all ages can wrap themselves in magic this Christmas and enjoy a spectacular Collections of Wonders – a heart-warming mix of thrilling magic with a sprinkling of comedy, hosted by Kevin Quantum, performer and MagicFest Artistic Director.
Kevin said… “Christmas is so special for me; spending time with family, eating lots of food and of course going to live shows and pantos, which is why I’m so happy to announce the inaugural Christmas show for people to enjoy with friends and family right before New Year. With MagicFest’s Summer Festival reaching over 10,000 people, this seemed the perfect time for us to offer a new magic experience with a festive twist.”
The show will offer children and adults an alternative festive experience with captivating performances from top magicians (see below) from all over the UK and a special guest from France. From cutting-edge illusions and mind reading to mesmerising sleight-of-hand magic and edge-of-your-seat levitation, this show is not to be missed!
