My artwork is usually based around characters and portraits. I enjoy coming up with the stories and names of all the characters I create, thinking about their personalities, backgrounds and hobbies while I bring them to life on a sketch pad. I like to dabble in all sorts of media and styles, but my strongest point is drawing with pens and paper. My art tends to be very neat and precise, whereas I tend to be a bit messy and all over the place. It’s a contrast I enjoy.
I am constantly developing my art style and learning new things as I go along, which I hope will lead to better and more powerful art in the future.

My name is Katy Morari and I am a half Cypriot half Scottish freelance illustrator, animator and artist living in Edinburgh. I graduated from the University of South Wales with a 1st class honours degree in 2D animation in 2015. I recently put a stop to my professional career to focus on my art, and have since been working as a freelance illustrator, artist, and animator.
