Join us at The Lyceum this Christmas as we bring to life one of the world’s best loved stories about family, bravery, and a boy who never grows up, from Scottish writer J.M. Barrie.
In a celebrated adaptation that puts her centre stage, follow the fearless Wendy as she flies with Peter to a magical world of dastardly pirates, feisty fairies, raucous lost boys, and one very hungry crocodile.
- Ella Hickson (The Writer, Precious Little Talent, Boys, Eight, Oil) adapts J.M Barrie’s much loved children’s classic, in a new version of the smash-hit first performed at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2013 and 2015.
- The production stars Isobel McArthur as Wendy and Ziggy Heath as Peter. They are joined by Bonnie Baddoo, Keiran Gallacher, Christine Gomes, Laurie Jamieson, George Naylor, Cristian Ortega, Sally Reid, Gyuri Sarossy, Dorian Simpson, and Rhys Whomsley.
- The production is directed by Eleanor Rhode, whose previous critically acclaimed work includes Boudica (Shakespeare’s Globe), Teddy (Southwark Playhouse), Beauty and the Beast (Watford Palace), and Terrorism (The Bush Theatre).
- The adaptation puts Wendy, Tinkerbell and Tiger Lilly centre stage as they fly, have fun, and fight to save the Lost Boys from the clutches of Captain Hook.
The production will run from 29 November 2018 – 5 January 2019, with a relaxed performance taking place on Thursday 3 January 2019 at 7pm.
